Description Use these tubes to show spectral lines of pure substances. These are glass tubes approximately 10.25″ (260 mm) long, central capillary portion approximately 3.5″ (90 mm) to 4″ (100 mm) long, with electrodes sealed at both ends and connected to lead wires protected by metal caps. The tubes offer an exciting illustration of spectral lines. • The tube needs an induction coil 2″ (50 mm) spark, or a suitable transformer like our power supply Item #3376-00D • Length of capillary portion can be varied as required • These cannot be used as lamps • For intermittent use • Spectrum – Orange
