The key feature is that they interlock and they’re absolutely perfect for hanging large pictures and heavy mirrors and connecting sectional furniture. They’re made from 1mm thick stamped steel and have a durable zinc dichromate finish. The two brackets inter lock  and the total thickness is only 3mm. What this means is that when you hang a picture or a mirror you get a good close to the wall flush fit. These brackets can be useful in several different applications. Since these brackets are made from 1mm stamped steel they can easily support considerable weight. In fact, 2 pair of the brackets, that’s four brackets, can easily support a 100-pound mirror. For your typical wall with 16 inch on center studs and half or 5/8 inch drywall you want to make sure that you have the screws that go into the wall at least 15/8 to 13/4 inches long and that at least two of them get anchored solidly into the studs.   To give you an idea of how these work, the one bracket gets mounted to the back of a picture frame with the tab on the bracket mounted facing down.The other bracket gets mounted to the wall with the tab on the bracket facing up. The brackets that are mounted on the frame will engage the brackets that are mounted on the wall and hang your picture a mirror. You can use a ruler or a tape measure to identify the location of your brackets on the back of the frame. Once you have those measurements, you, of course, can measure along your wall to get locations for the brackets to go on the wall so that they align with the brackets that are on the back of the frame.   A much better way to line up your bracket so that things come up perfect is to make yourself a template. Get a piece of cardboard, cut it down so that’s along the top edge of the frame, put it on the frame, locate your brackets on top of the template, mark your hole locations, drill the holes through the template, and then take a pen or a pencil and mark your hole locations on the wall and al soon the back of the frame. That way everything will be spaced perfectly and the picture or mural will hang exactly correct the first time.
