Description Tech Team #883 Replacement Battery Hold Down Bracket, Universal Adjustable Clamp fits most Cars, Pickup Trucks, Tractors, Heavy Equipment, Bulldozers, and Excavators, Hardware Included Product Details Your everyday lead acid battery found in automobiles, pickup trucks, tractors, and heavy equipment emits corrosive gas that can erode and damage the original equipment battery’s hold down bracket and J bolts. Allowing an unrestrained, heavy battery to slide around can create a hazardous situation. The solution is to use Tech Team’s replacement battery hold down set. The set consists of an acid resistant epoxy coated cross battery brace / bracket / clamp that can adjust to fit batteries from 4.5” to 8.626” in width and 2 – 11” 8mm diameter, corrosion resistant, zinc plated J bolts with 3.5” of M8 x 1.25 thread with wing nuts and washers. The J bolts will support batteries from 7” up to 10.5” inches high.Installation is a simple process on most applications but there are always exceptions. With that thought in mind, it’s a good idea to review the detailed drawings that we have provided and compare them to your particular requirements.
