Product Details Tech Team’s Solid Lead, Epoxy Coated Terminals are designed for Top Post batteries. The negative terminal has a 5/16” wingnut threaded connection and the positive has a 3/8” wingnut threaded connector. The heavy-duty lead connectors and lead shims provide a secure, conductive electrical connection with batteries with worn or damaged posts and have300 amp current capacity with epoxy coating to eliminate corrosion and damage from saltwater or corrosive environments.Fiber anti-corrosion washers to prevent corrosive gasses from causing blue or green corrosion around the battery posts are included.  Includes one (1) positive and one (1) negative connector, two (2) anti-corrosion washers, and two (2) lead shims. The Tech Team Top Post Terminal Connectors are made from solid lead, with brass wingnuts for added conductivity.  Lead connectors provide a full-contact surface fit and combined with the lead shims can ensure excellent connectivity even on worn or damaged posts.  The fiber anti-corrosion washers prevent corrosive gasses from causing blue or green corrosion around the battery posts.  The set includes one (1) positive and one (1) negative connector, two (2) anti-corrosion washers, and two (2) lead shims. Red positive connector is 19mm with a 3/8” threaded stud with a 3/8” brass wing nut for making positive electrical connections to 3/8” and 7/16” copper lug battery cable ends. Black negative terminal is 17mm with 5/16” threaded stud and brass wing nut for making positive high conductivity connections. Lead terminal shims make positive conductive electrical connections on batteries with worn or damaged lead top terminal posts. The set also includes one pair of anti-corrosion washers which get placed over the battery post and beneath the terminal connector. These prevent blue, yellow, green corrosion which degrades battery electrical connections. In many applications such as those involving boats and other marine situations, along with RV’s and any other situation where a battery needs to be removed and replaced frequently for security and/or replacement and charging, a marine style terminal set with wing nuts attaching the battery cables makes the job easier. In addition, if accessories such as air horns, audio systems, entertainment systems, snowplows, furling mechanisms, etc., must be attached, the threaded post with the wingnut on both the positive and negative side of the battery makes the connection easy and fast.
